i conclude this section dealing with medical miracles with two excerpts from dr. seigel’s book, which again i highly recommend. i cite dr. seigel:
“my decades of being a physician have taught me that we each have one life and we have to treasure it. god decides how long we have; doctors should not try to usurp that role. god may see a purpose for our remaining in the world that we aren’t even aware of. . . . medical technology is my tool as a physician, complemented by prayer and a patient’s courage and hope. miracles come when the physician’s hands of god are combined with prayer and these prayers are answered.”
